The Old (or High) Lighthouse now stands some way back from the quayside, having relinquished its waterside position when work to the port of Blyth created the quayside as it is today. The Lighthouse sits behind Bath Terrace and is one of the town's most famous landmarks. Recently repainted for the Tall Ships Regatta in 2016, it now looks smarter than my more 'weathered' version which was created from my photograph taken some months before.
The drawing was created from my original photograph using my iPad Pro and Apple pencil.
This is a mounted, digital print, size 10 x 12" (30.5 x 25.4 cm)
